Priesthood line of authority

Today it was Doug's opportunity and blessing to ordain Spencer to the office of High Priest. It is special to note that Spencer was named after the prophet, Spencer W. Kimball. He ordained Doug's father and, therefore, now is part of Spencer's line of authority.

Spencer L. Evans was ordained a High Priest July 16, 2006 by Douglas B.Carter, who was ordained High Priest March 1, 1981 by Bruce L. Carter, who was ordained High Priest October 22, 1967 by Spencer W. Kimball, who was ordained an Apostle October 9,1943 by Heber J. Grant, who was ordained an Apostle October 16,1882, by George Q. Cannon, who was ordained an Apostle August 26, 1860 by Brigham Young, who was ordained an Apostle February 14,1935 under the hands of the three witnesses, Oliver Cowdery, David Whitmer, and Martin Harris who were called by revelation to choose the Twelve Apostles and on February 14, 1835 were blessed by the laying on of the hands of Joseph Smith Jr. and his counsellors. Joseph Smith Jr. received the Melchizedek Priesthood in 1829 under the hands of Peter, James and John who were ordained Apostles by the Lord Jesus Christ (John15:16.)
