Truly, we give our thanks for the prayers and well wishes offered in our behalf over the past couple of days. I went to the hospital this morning and the doctor told me that Brianna could come home. She is very sore and just barely able to move, however, I got her settled with some food and medicine and met up with my husband and my missionaries at the transfer meeting.
We had some entertaining moments imagining the younger missionaries coming into the field now. Our grandson, Clark, still has 11 years to wait, however.
Our son-in-law, Tanner, served a Vietnamese-speaking mission in Texas. He found our transfer meeting quite different than the ones he had experienced. Their family loved chatting with the missionaries casually both before and after the meeting today. However, Presidente also had Cherylyn and Tanner share their thoughts during the meeting with Elder Fernandez translating.
