This was my favorite of the photos that Maile and Brianna took today with Maile’s dad’s camera.

santa susana
One of the things that Cherylyn requested to do while they were visiting, was take a trip to Campo. We decided to spend the day and at the ranch, Santa Susana. There were horse rides and wagon rides and lots of food and a variety showcase of Argentine traditions.

santa susanna
Cherylyn has told us almost ever since we moved to Argentina that she wanted to go and visit campo. We learned of an estancia not too far from where we live. It was a beautiful ranch of 3000 acres, but it also caters to tourists. We had horse rides and cart rides, a variety show with various traditional agentine dances and music, a gaucho competition on horseback and food, Food, FOOD!

temaiken zoo-- a is for audrey/m is for missionaries
We asked the office secretaries if they wanted to spend their P-day with us and Chezzie’s family at the zoo. They did. I think Temaiken is a gorgeous zoo and we had a beautiful day for it, as well.
Checking out the bats that were mostly sleeping.
It was the craziest thing ever when this bird hopped up on Presidente’s shoulder and decided that it want the button on his hat..and it got it!
This bird on the right is called a secretario. Notice the orange glasses and the straw in its mouth held like a pencil.

on the pastores tour
I stayed home to babysit the babysitter, as well as the little ones. Chezzie and Tanner joined with Presidente and the Pastores for a tour of Buenos Aires.
