When I am with my girls, we normally end up doing projects together. Often, we end up going places that we haven’t been before and that is exactly what happened today.

Of course, at the time I didn’t know that National City leads San Diego County in violent crime, as well as drug and gang related activity. And, it is only 15 miles from the border.

 

Nevertheless, and unawares, we headed to our destination--the Upholstery Fabric Outlet.

 

It was super clean, super organized and the workers were super nice, cutting and gluing and gifting us part of the project all the while offering great advice.  There was a fabulous selection of fabrics and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our adventure…
