My brother, John and his wife, Joy came to Buenos Aires. We took them to many of our favorite tourist attractions. In addition to that, we Shopped. Shopped with a capital S. Let’s just say that they went home with very heavy suticases.
Among other purchases, Joy wanted tango shoes, but, in addition to two pairs of tango shoes, she went home several other pairs of shoes and I think John even ended up with a couple of pairs of driving shoes.
We watched some of the races at the hippodromo and enjoyed a beautiful sunset on our way to Lujan to celebrate Joy’s birthday.
We had to get a picture of the Tango Place by day, but we went back in the evening to watch an incredibly amazing show.
Joy was so funny at Recoleta. It totally freaked her out, but she kind of liked it a lot!
Doug and I seldom take a break from missionary work and while it took some effort to keep everything afloat, it was such a blessing to be able to spend time with these guys!
Love them!
