Brianna loves to talk. She will talk to anyone anytime anywhere. This is a great talent, and it is also a great problem for her on occasion, specifically, the 8.5 hours of school. After numerous conferences with her teacher, I said to Brianna that I wanted to know about the quietest children in the class. She named four girls. I told her to make one them her friend. Brianna was very upset about that because "quiet people are boring." Inspite of her initial reaction to my request, she struck up a friendship with Jessica. It has been two years. And she does not think that Jessica is boring at all. Thank heaven for quiet friends.
