Peter is a kite enthusiast. He brought over part of his fabulous collection. We unfurled many of them, and he taught the kids about various different kinds of kites.

   He has also custom designed a camera that he sends up the kite line to take pictures from the sky…called KAP ing.

We didn’t have much today.

However, that wasn’t a problem for someone like Peter. He has “no wind” kites. Doug unlocked the cultural hall at church and after a demonstration/lesson from Peter the kids were ready to try it.

   

Today we were all kids.

  

Everyone agreed that Courtney and her kite were poetry in motion.

It is probably safe to say,

the Birdhouse has never looked more colorful.
