My almost-no-longer-a-Beehive daughter and I went to a pajama party tonight! It was thoughtfully planned by leaders who know that many of the stake activities are “for youth 14 and up” and that is a phrase that girls are pretty tired of by the time they are almost-no-longer-a-Beehive.
So it was introductions including our favorite breakfast food, three classes, (Babysitting, Personal Hygiene and a Craft) followed by dance instruction, refreshments and a beautiful bedtime story…that was a true story about the Savior.
For tonight, I am glad that my almost-no-longer-a-Beehive daughter is still a Beehive.
What a great event to enjoy together.
